The J-08 is an AK variant, constructed out of metal, wood, and plastic. The stock, receiver, barrel etc are all constructed out of metal, and are finished with a scratch resistant nano-coating, helping ensure your replica stays pristine for longer. The front handguard is constructed out of plywood, giving it an authentic look and feel that cannot be beaten.

Internally you have a V3 Orion gearbox - it is reinforced, and has steel gears, polycarbonate piston with steel teeth, bearings, and aluminium dual O-ring air seal components. As good as all that is, that's not what sets it apart...that's the base line, and that gives you some idea of the sheer quality. No, what sets the EDGE 2.0 apart is their factory fitted GATE ASTER trigger system - an optical trigger with over 240 degrees of sensitivity, fully programmable. It uses optical sensors, so your gun is more reliable, more performant, and effectively pre-upgraded to perform at the highest level.
