Specna Arms have built a name for themselves in excellence, with their Edge series forming the tip of the spear. You have a superb quality full metal body (with scratch resistant coating), quick spring-change gearbox factory-fitted GATE X-ASR MOSFET. But that's only scratching the surface!

In collaboration with Rock River Arms and Strike Industries, the Edge 17 is a fully licensed official replica, carrying RRA trademarks on the receiver (deeply engraved), and Strike Industries trademarks on the full metal M-LOK handguard. Did we mention the M-LOK handguard? This rifle has a compact stylish modern handguard, railed on the top, with M-LOK on the sides and bottom for the addition of other accessories. Out of the box this rifle includes an M-LOK angled grip, however you can remove it to add other accessories if you wish.

The rifle is fitted with button-less flip up BUIS (back up iron sights), allowing you to get a sight picture with ease. These are removable in case you want to maximise your rail space, however their low profile nature makes them ideal to use in conjunction with other optics setups.

Comfort is key with any rifle, and the Edge 17 has superb ergonomics. The MIAD style pistol grip is angled for a more comfortable wrist position, and the texture enhances your grip. It also offers tool-less motor access, which is a nice to have for in the field. The star of the show has to be the light ops stock, which offers a low profile, easy adjustment, and great grip due to the thick rubber butt pad, and textured cheekpiece. It also has integrated QD mount points for slings on each side. Speaking of slings, the Edge 17 has an integrated sling plate for running single point slings, offering great manoeuvrability out of the box.

But the true beauty is on the inside - you have Specna Arms' Orion gearbox, complete with factory fitted GATE X-ASR MOSFET for improved trigger response, high torque motor, paired with steel gears and a steel tooth piston. The air seal components are double o-ring aluminium, offering superb consistency, and it is quick spring change allowing you quicker and easier takedown for maintenance. Further up the chain you have a 6.03mm tightbore barrel paired with a rotary hop up chamber, giving you excellent shot to shot consistency.

In the box you get the EDGE 17 replica, 2x S-Mag Midcap magazines, 1x Angled M-LOK grip, 1x Deans to Tamiya adapter. Battery and Charger are not included. Due to the limited space in the stock tube, it is recommended to use 7.4v 1100mAh batteries.
