The laser is a tool of intimidation - it highlights your target, and lets them know you have them dead to rights. Of course, they do serve a practical aiming purpose - it offers a more positive sight picture, and affords faster reflex shooting.
This laser is constructed out of metal, and mounts onto a 20mm RIS/RAS rail. What helps set this apart from other lasers is that it has a bottom rail, meaning you do not lose rail space with it. It also means you can use it as a riser mount.
Operation is simple - there is a toggle switch on the back, allowing you to easily flip it on/off. Small allen screws adjust the windage and elevation, letting you dial it in quickly.
