The JG Thunder Maul is an unusual replica. Based on the humble M4, it has a unique body kit installed giving it a distinctly Sci-Fi feeling, separating it from the crowd.

Retaining its compatibility with M4 magazines, stocks etc, this futuristic design is comfortable and compact, making it formiddable. Included in the box is a 180 round high capacity magazine, battery & charger. The battery is stored in the front of the replica; it is not a fast access compartment, and requires a philips screwdriver.

Simply undo the philips screw on the front of the rifle, which allows the front sight/flash-hider block to slide off. Battery space is incredibly limited - the set includes an 8.4v NiMh, however we would recommend using 7.4v Lipo to make your life easier for battery installation.

Built on a standard V2 gearbox, this gun offers the best of both worlds - you get the novelty of an interesting looking gun whilst retaining the parts compatiblity with the M4 platform. Internally you have steel gears paired with a polycarbonate piston, with a standard torque motor. It is running 18:1 gears, providing a reasonable rate of fire out of the box when used with 7.4v/8.4v batteries.
