The SIG series pistols were always renowned for their exceptional utility in design, and super reliability. In airsoft terms, they're a heavyweight, hard-hitting, gas blowback beast. What more can you want?

This replica is manufactured by WE, and much like the real steel version, is full metal. Powered by green gas (we recommend using Nuprol 2.0 or 3.0, you fill the magazine with both gas and BB's keeping it completely self-contained. The mags hold 24 BB's; more than enough for most enemies. Please note that due to the heavyweight nature of the slide, it is recommended to keep 1 second between shots to reduce cool down.

As soon as you pick it up, it sits comfortably in your hand and all of the controls are exactly where you would expect them; it is extremely intuitive to manipulate. Like its green gas predecessor, stripping the gun is done by simply releasing the magazine, pushing the disassembly lever up and removing the slide, that's it! Simple to take apart, making it a dream to adjust the hop up for even more accurate shooting.

One of the nicest features on the SIG P226 is the functioning decocker - it functions exactly the same as on the real steel; push the lever down to safely release the hammer without firing.
