The J-Series from Specna Arms are modelled after the venerable Kalashnikov AK lineup, one of the most popular and infamous gun designs ever made. This particular replica, the J-02, is modelled after the AK74 - a more modern AK, whilst retaining the real wood furniture, and modern improvements to the design. The EDGE Series is full metal, and the J-02 goes further with a steel receiver, as well as the real wood furniture, giving this piece fantastic authenticity and realsim.

As part of the EDGE 2.0 lineup, this AK74 replica has a quick spring change gearbox, complete with steel gears, and polycarbonate piston. Bu the real star of the show is the factory-fitted GATE ASTER, giving you unprecedented capability out of the box. A smoother trigger, greater reliability, and superior performance. Not to mention the fact you have a 6.03mm tightbore barrel as well.

Inside the box you get two midcap magazines, each holding 175 BB's. The mags are J-Series S-Mags, a polymer design that looks fantastic, and has better ergonomics than the traditional AK style mags. It is compatible with Cyma, JG, VFC, Tokyo Marui etc. AK magazines.

The battery is stored over the gearbox, under the bolt cover. This gives you plenty of room for lipo batteries. We recommend running 7.4v lipo for best results. Battery and Charger are not included with this replica
